Atlanta, Day 1

Hurray! I have internet! Anyway, we got to Atlanta after sitting through some TERRIBLE traffic. We did not move an inch for more than 2 hours! Finally, when we got there, we met a few people including Bill Potter! He told us that Dr. Morecraft was waiting at a restaurant to eat with us. We had no idea! So we went over and got to know Dr. Morecraft more. We missed both of the talks but it was a great blessing being able to get to know him more! When we got back to the church, he showed me an actual page written in Spurgeon's hand for one of his sermons! It was great! Then he showed me a plaster of paris mask of Oliver Cromwell which was made not long after he died. You could see his warts, mustache, beard, and everything! I will post more tonight!

Georgia Conference

I am getting ready to go to a Conference with my Dad in Atlanta, GA. We are going down there today and are getting back on Friday evening. We will be traveling in the car all day! I am really looking forward to the time that I am going to have with Him as He sharpens me in God's Holy Word. I hope to meet more people at this conference and make my spiritual walk with Jesus Christ greater and greater. I will keep you updated on everything that happens (if I have internet, that is.)

Pleased to Announce...

I am pleased to announce the publication of the Horn Family Productions Website. This is not my website, it's my friends. It will be a website where you can get multiple resources including the Shenandoah Valley Campaign Tour MP3 CD. It is still under construction, so right now you can only buy the MP3 audio CD. Check back later for more products!

Puppies!

Today we brought home new puppies! They are really cute! One of them is a yellow lab mix. The other is pure black. We named the yellow lab "Courage". The black one we haven't named yet. Here are some pictures of them!

My Birthday!

Today is my 12th birthday! The age twelve is a very important age because that is the only time we see Jesus as a young man. My dad and I went out to breakfast at Panera Bread and then He suprised me and took me to Ed's Gun Shop (a little but very nice gun store near our house) and bought me a Ruger 22 semi-automatic! It's really nice! When we got home, we went down to the lake and shot at milk cartons full of water. Here are some pictures of us shooting the gun!

Marching at Mcdowell

About 2 weeks ago, my family and I went to the Shendoah Valley Campaign Tour put on by the Horn Family. It was a great time! This is a video of some of the children marching up to Sitlington's Hill, which is the hill overlooking Mcdowell.

NOTE: This video is from the Horn Family's blog. Here is the link www.hornherald.blogspot.com

New House

As most of you know, we are going to move down to Southern Pines to start a church plant with the Smith family. We were looking for houses for a while but we have found a new house! It is a great house! It is 2,000 sq. feet downstairs and has a 2,000 sq. foot unfinished upstairs, it has 2.5 bathrooms, 3 bedroom, a pond, a creek, and my favorite part, 25 acres! Some of it is wooded. I will try to get some pictures of it up soon!

God Bless,
Stephen B.

I am the Lord, there is no other

I am so sorry that I could not post on the conference but we would have to leave at 7:45 to get there to save a seat and came home at 9:00.

Anyway, R.C. Sproul gave an unbelievable talk on how God is our God and we should not go after other gods. He made a very funny point on this. Just listen!

Gettysburg

This is a video of the introduction of the movie Gettysburg. It is a very good movie and if you haven't seen it I would recommend it to you. Enjoy (it's really funny!)
